Church Projects & Fundraising Appeals

Holy Trinity is actively involved in fundraising both for financial and in-kind donations.

We collect for local and international non-profit organizations as well as for the upkeep (and renovation) of the church building and its gardens.

Holy Trinity Church Building

The roof of this historic building is in urgent need of repairs.  Each rainfall produces indoor streams of water down the walls which not only damage the paintwork, but more seriously, the integrity of the building from ceiling to floor.

As well as funds to repair the roof, the church needs repainting both internally and externally.

We hope, with your help, to be able to raise these funds in time for the church’s 125th anniversary celebrations which will take place in 2017.

The ‘100’ Club

To kick off the fundraising, we have started the ‘100 Club’.  In February, friends of the church and council members will be asked to donate 100 Euros to the cause.  Members of the ‘100 Club’ will get monthly updates about our activities in a newsletter and will be named as special donors.

If you would like to become a member, please get in touch.

Holy Trinity Gardens

Holy Trinity is located in Las Palmas’s leafy Ciudad Jardin, but our gardens need investment to bring them back to their former glory.  This project is important not just for cosmetic reasons.

As part of the church’s sustainability plan we want to open up the gardens to the general public.  We would like, in English tradition, to create a tranquil environment in the middle of Las Palmas’s city noise and raise awareness about the island’s rich variety of flora.

Furthermore, we will then use the garden area to host events and English language activities to bring in funds for the maintenance of the property.
